Event Booking Data
We collect information about you during the checkout process in our Event Calendar section. We’ll use cookies to facilitate the purchase of event tickets using the WooCommerce shopping cart. You will be asked to provide your name and email address. You may also provide the name and email address of any person/s you choose to purchase a ticket for. These email addresses are used to send a booking confirmation email with details about the event, the event organiser’s contact details and also the names of other attendees you have included in the booking. Additionally, these emails contain a link to a PDF Invoice that can be downloaded from our site. Another reminder email will be sent to the purchaser of the ticket the day before the event commences.
Along with the email address field, the booking form also includes an optional field to submit your phone number. This is so we can easily get in touch if there are any issues regarding your booking, e.g. changes to an event schedule, postponements, cancellations, refunds etc. This is for your convenience and it is not compulsory in order to complete the payment process.
We accept payments through the Stripe payment gateway via the WooCommerce plugin. When processing your payments, some of your data will be passed to Stripe. To facilitate this process WooCommerce will set the following cookies on your computer or device:
- wp_woocommerce_session_HASH
- stripe_mid
- _stripe_sid
