Restorative Yoga (New Year)
Restorative Yoga, (New Year), facilitated by Noemi Simeone. The next class is on Sunday, February 5, from 7.15 pm – 8.15 pm. Weekly classes will run until the 26th of February. There is a fee of €15 per class. See booking details below.
The aim of these classes is to help you slow down and relax your body and mind.
The classes are suitable for beginners as well as more experienced students, and are held in a compassionate space.
We will gently warm up the body and then enjoy a series of restful Restorative Yoga poses.
We will also work closely with the breath, to rebalance your nervous system and cultivate a sense of peace and stillness.
Noemi Simeone Bio
I am a certified Yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance Professionals.
I started my Yoga journey soon after I moved from Italy to Ireland in 2018, as a way to deepen my relationship with myself and relieve day-to-day stress and anxiety. Since I stepped into my first Yoga class, I felt I had the power to access a special place in my mind, body and heart. That place of peace, ease and calm that can at times be difficult to find, especially as we go through the constant challenges and changes in our busy lives. My breath felt so much more expanded as I left the class with an overall sense of calm and wellbeing.
Since then, I have spent the last four years practising with many inspiring teachers in the Dublin city centre and Dun Laoghaire area, exploring different styles including Hatha, Vinyasa, Forrest, Yin and Restorative Yoga.
Yoga is an ancient group of practices which encompasses different styles, as we know them today, and I believe the key for every person is to try and see what works for their body and mind, to find what gives them that “Oh yes!” kind of feeling.
One way I would describe the practice of Yoga is as a wonderful tool to keep in your box, to be used whenever you need to connect to yourself and your body by engaging in restful, playful, energising and rejuvenating time. In my classes I use a combination of meditation, pranayama (breathwork) and mindful movement, and I am committed to creating a safe and inclusive space for anyone wishing to explore Yoga, no matter if it’s for the first time or if they are a regular student.
