Drop-In Mindfulness Deep Dive
Drop-In Mindfulness – Deep Dive – a five-session, online, drop-in event facilitated by Mary O’Callaghan. Classes take place every Tuesday on Zoom from 6 pm to 7 pm from the 30th of March until the 27th of April. One payment of €30 or €40 or €50 will cover all five sessions. While we may experience the benefits of mindfulness from time to time, we can easily slip back into more familiar and automatic ways of being. The Zen Patriarch Lin-Chi observed that the more we understand the nature of our mind the better able we are to transform it with the practices of mindfulness.
Over 5 weeks Mary invites you to join her as she dives into:
- How the conscious and unconscious dynamics of our mind can help or hinder our capacity for mindful living.
- The four grounds on which mindfulness is cultivated: body, feeling, mind, mental reflections.
- How buddhist psychology, neuroscience and western psychological systems (particularly Internal Family Systems) can whet our curiosity for deeper and broader explorations and practices of mindfulness and thereby transform our heart/mind.
